Located at Prestwick Golf Club, T. Morris Pub and Grill is a new world take on an old world experience, and is open to the public year round!

At T. Morris Pub & Grill we honor the past with playful wit and delicious food and cocktails that our guests love. A place we imagine Old Tom Morris himself would have gathered with friends and family to share a meal or partake in a pint or two. The menu features an array of pub favorites like fish and chips and a delicious selection of burgers such as the T. Morris Burger and Wick Melt. The house specialties include Shepard’s Pie and Braised Beef Short Ribs along with classics like the Clubhouse Ribeye or Berkshire Pork Chop for a perfect evening out. The daily specials such as Fried Chicken Tuesdays and BBQ Rib Wednesdays are fan favorites.

As a young boy growing up in Scotland, Tom Morris ran the streets of his neighborhood chipping old wine corks down the lane with his homemade golf club playing rounds of sillybodkins with his friends. As Tom grew, so did his love of golf and he became an apprentice to the world’s first professional golfer, Allan Robertson. Somewhat of a rebel, Tom was fired years later for using the new “guttie” golf ball, a direct competitor to those created by his mentor.

Morris was an extraordinary golfer who was inducted into the Golf Hall of Fame in 1976 and still holds the record as the oldest winner of The Open Championship at age 46. T. Morris also held the record for the largest margin of victory in a major championship with 14 strokes at the 1862 Open Championship which stood until Tiger Woods won the 2000 US Open by 15 strokes.
